PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity allows students to use a portion of a gene sequence for a human, gorilla, chimpanzee and common ancestor primate to construct and compare RNA and amino acid sequences. Students will then be asked a series of questions allowing them to reason why it is inaccurate to state that humans came from chimpanzees and reinforces the concept of common ancestry. The activity is in a zip file with the answer key included.
