Product Description
This lesson aligns with the Common Core State Standards:
"STANDARD 6 - Force and Motion
The teacher understands and applies the concepts that describe force and motion and the principles that explain them.
6B. understands the concepts and interrelationships of force (including gravity and friction), inertia, work, power, energy, and momentum
6G. describes the effects of gravitational, electromagnetic, and nuclear forces in real life situations."

PowerPoint lesson I in the "Newton's Laws" unit - Introductory physics. This lesson identifies forces; balanced and unbalanced forces; gravity; four types of friction and projectile motion.
A separate student PowerPoint worksheet is also available.

PowerPoint lessons contain many graphics and links to short videos to further student understanding.
PowerPoint slides also contain notes for the instructor based on students most "frequently asked questions" or FAQ's to help clarify the subject.
A class activity is included at the end of each lesson and a 20-question interactive quiz/review at kahoot.it is also included as a link in the last slide.

*All PowerPoint lessons; review programs; student worksheets/activities and assessments for this unit can be found under the "Introductory Physics Complete Unit III Newton's Laws" zip file folder.
