No special hardware is required, it will run through any computer screen, monitor, projector, interactive board, etc...providing you are using the correct software.
The Lesson utilizes Smart Notebook software, check out the Preview file above (which is a PDF with hyperlinks) and the Q&A file that comes with the download to see options for Notebook software. In most cases if you check with your school's tech support they can install the software on whatever PC or Mac you are using at a nominal cost to the school. Or you can download it yourself and use it 45 days and decide if you want to buy your own license at about $100/year.
