This resource was designed for those students who are ready to work on rounding. Be aware that any student who has a firm understanding of ordering numbers up to 100 and counting by 10s can learn to round. Most students will work with rounding for the first time in second and third grade. Some first graders will be more than ready for this skill.
This resource contains:
3 anchor charts,
a number line that can go up to 160 if needed,
a 100s chart with rounding information,
We strongly suggest that you make rounding at least a once a week quick review for your student. This is a skill that can be quickly forgotten if not reinforced. This will help them greatly with future success in math.
We here at What We Get Up To hope that your students have a wonderful experience learning to round to 10.
