This lesson was made for a high-school age Multiple Disabilities classroom based on the Extended Content Standards. The goal is for students to identify the organizational features of a sentence (e.g. words, capitalization, ending punctuation). The lesson is 19 pages long and is a combination of direct instruction and practice. Attached are notes that the students can take while the 3 main parts of a sentence are taught, including capital letter, punctuation and a complete thought or idea. In addition, practice sheets are attached, which mostly focus on capitalization. I also have a follow-up lesson focused on punctuation.
