Product Description
Introduction to Periodic Table Activities lessons usually take about two weeks to complete.

The Element Book Cover is completed after introduction of the Periodic Table. This activity allows students to be creative as the use what they have learned. After the activity, students may place the book cover on their science textbook.

Element drawing pages are graded and can also be used to assign several drawings to each student for homework or class work. Directions are given to enable the teacher to help students not only draw element models, but also learn how to locate various information using the Periodic Table.

The Using the Periodic Table page integrates Math and Science and engages students in following procedures that have been practiced in class.

The Element Quiz and WHAT AM I? are assessments used after students have studied given element symbols and formulas, but may be used as pre- and/or post-tests.

The Teacher note page explains how Common Core connections are made.
