Introduction to the Scientific Method: Tennis Ball Drop Lab

I would do this lab the day after introducing the scientific method. Students would work in partners to test the height a tennis ball would bounce from different initial heights. It was a great opportunity to talk about removing as many variables as possible when conducting a test. It was also a great way to show students how to make inferences from a set of data.
