Unit IV “The Periodic Table” folder contains three comprehensive PowerPoint lessons; many review programs with printable color PDF worksheets; three student PPT supporting note guides; a unit vocabulary sheet; quizzes, and unit/chapter assessments (all multiple choice, matching, true/false questions) with answer keys.
PowerPoint lessons contain many graphics and at least two links to short videos for each lesson to further student understanding.
PowerPoint slides also contain notes for the instructor based on students most "frequently asked questions" or FAQ's to help clarify the subject. A short class activity is given at the end of each lesson and a link to an optional Kahoot.it interactive quiz/review is also included. Kahoot.it quizzes are a fun way to compliment the PowerPoint lessons and to help check for student understanding. ActivInspire programs/worksheets can also be used for an interactive review of the material covered in the unit.
