"I Have, Who Has" is a fun game that can be used as a warm-up or informal assessment.
You can play this game as a class or in small groups by distributing cards to all students. Note that some students may have more than one card. Next, the teacher decides on a student to go first. Students will have to determine the next number in the sequence. Whichever student has the card with the correct answer will read theirs. And so on. The cards form a loop, so it doesn't matter which student begins.
Instructions and variations are included for a whole class game and for partner or small group play. Also, suggestions are included to keep students engaged. The solutions are given, but could vary because the cards do form a loop.
There are 24 cards.
The vocabulary words included are:
congruent angles - adjacent angles - collinear points - postulates - midpoint of a segment - acute angle - vertical angles - linear pair of angles - coplanar points - theorems - Segment Addition Postulate - congruent segments - segment bisector - line segment - supplementary angles - right angle - ray - obtuse angle - angle - complementary angles - a point - a line - vertex - angle bisector
I hope your students have as much fun with this game as mine do!
