PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH This is a PowerPoint presentation I made to teach students how to write an introductory paragraph. It provides review of the main parts of an introduction, but then focuses in on the hook.

The presentation provides a sample question about a shared central idea between two poems, "Television," by Roald Dahl and "Cookie Jar," by Jack Johnson. However, it can be used as a model for any introduction.

It's free, so check it out! And if you like what you see, feel free to click on the green star near the store name to be the first to know about more freebies and products I have posted!

(You can find the the materials I use to teach "Television" and "Cookie Jar" in a product in my store if you're interested:
