This is an activity where students physically manipulate cut-up sentences to put a basic Spanish conversation in order.
Topics covered: Asking and answering names, asking and answering how one is, likes and dislikes, and goodbyes.
Instructions: Print one conversation per 2-5 students. Cut the phrases at the lines and mix them up. Put them in an envelope and give one to each pair/group. Offer a prize for the group that can put their conversation together correctly the fastest. Be sure to print an uncut copy of the conversation for you to hold as you circulate!
Optional: If you have not yet introduced likes and dislikes, you can omit the three lines that feature “gustar.”
