PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I use this fun activity after we have talked about invertebrates and vertebrates. The students get to invent their own animal. They have to decide whether their animal is an invertebrate or vertebrate and then come up with all the characteristics for the animal. For example, name, habitat, adaptations, predators and defense mechanisms. My students always have a blast coming up with their own animals!
