The objective of this activity is for students to be able to give examples of technological advancements and their impact on business productivity during the development of the United States. (e.g., cotton gin, steamboat, steam locomotive, and telegraph.)

This objective and resources aligns with Georgia Standards of Excellence, but can supplement many state standards.
