This slide show, created by Wendy Hunt, is designed to be a visual answer key to a pre-test given before a unit on inventions. It includes nineteen different inventors and their inventions. On each slide, the inventor's name is displayed, then a photo or portrait of the inventor is shown. On the other side of the slide, a photo of the invention is displayed, to encourage students to guess what it is, before the answer is given. Some of the inventions included are the telephone, light bulb, laser, camera, elevator, airplane, cereal flakes, and printing press. This was a great way for me to review the pre-test with my students, and it motivated them to learn more about these important inventors and inventions.
