Use this slider as a discovery activity for students to verify if two equations are inverses. Students can generate their own test values and plug it into an original function and plug the output into its inverse function. If they get back the same value every time, they're inverses! A pdf and editable word document are included. It is recommended that the slider itself (on page 2) be printed on card-stock paper for optimal results. Great for interactive notebooks and introductory lesson on verifying inverses using function composition.
