This product is a zip file containing 2 pdf documents. One is the puzzle itself; the other is the key.
While assembling this puzzle, students will be finding the inverse of the given function. All the functions used are linear functions. The puzzle contains 12 problems.
How to use this activity:
Group students in groups of 2 - 4 students. They will start by cutting out the puzzle pieces. Each piece contains a function and an inverse function corresponding to a function on another piece. Students will find the inverse of each function and locate that inverse on another piece. They will tape the two pieces together. The completed puzzle makes a circle.
I put students in groups of 4, and they completed this activity in about 20 minutes. Smaller groups or pairs may take more time.
