Students practice finding the inverses to linear functions in this matching activity to use in a variety of ways. The set includes 18 pairs of matching cards all with linear functions. Students need to identify those functions that are inverses. Cut apart and use for a single student or pair of students.
Also included are 12 cards that do not match to be used as distractors for those students who need an additional challenge. You can use as many or as few of the non-matching cards with the other cards for those students who always finish early. If you have students who struggle, or always need some additional time, just give fewer matching cards or include those students with a pair.
You can use to pair up students for other activities. You can also use these cards as a ticket in the door or ticket out the door. Additional uses for these cards are explained in the directions or download my free resource.
