This is a picture supported assessment that allows special education students to investigate and understand the differences between weather and climate. Students will answer multiple choice questions on key vocabulary, such as weather and climate and identify the four factors that affect climate (elevation, location near water, latitude and position near mountains). Students will be able to observe and record weather data over a week’s time. Students will also use a word bank to identify the name of the weather instruments and determine what the weather instruments measure.
