Investigating Adaptations
Product Description
This is great for early learners, special education, autism and nonverbal students. It allows them to demonstrate investigation for state standards like the VAAP.

I created models so students can investigate and determine which adaptation is being shown. I have attached the pictures and choice board that I created for this. The adaptations I did were: hibernation, camouflage, migration, deciduous trees, coniferous trees, and people adapting to the seasons (clothing they wear). I took shoe boxes that I cut in half, and used a piece of the lid to created the barrier. I glued tissue paper for the sky and felt pieces for the ground. Two examples for the same adaptation are shown per box.
