This worksheet is made to be used with snap cubes. The students use 20 snap cubes to create as many rectangular prisms as they can.The activity is geared to help the students make a connection between the chart and the algorithm. It also reinforces the concept that different shapes can have the same volume.
This activity is aligned with C.C. 5.MD.3. It can be used for whole group instruction or in a center.
