Practice or review ionic nomenclature with the Ionic Bonding Necklace Templates (Multivalent and Polyatomic Ions). This activity was inspired by an activity titled, Bond with a Classmate, by Gail Sanders – which may be found here with the monatomic ions and worksheets. I created an extension of the activity for use at the high school level since the original set did not contain polyatomic and multivalent ions. Due to my extension of this activity, this item will remain FREE.
A 2 minute video explaining how I have used the activity may be found by clicking on this link.
