Students will work with diary of Robert Ode, who was a hostage during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. They will start by answer a few questions about the background of the crisis using a reading from Ducksters. They will then choose one diary passage to read and explain. Among their group members they should choose the one passage they found the most interesting and explain it. As the entire class explains their passage, students should record the three they find the most interesting and explain what happened.
