Product Description

This is a three part unit by Reading Through History. It covers the explosion of Irish and German immigration into the United States during the early to mid 19th Century as well as nativist backlash to the newcomers. The lessons include: Irish Immigration, German Immigration, and Opposition to Immigration. There is enough material to cover 2-3 days of class, depending on if one or two lessons are done in a period.

**My students typically finish an assignment in around 30 minutes.
