I created this activity in conjunction with my school's BYOD initiative.It is a two part activity that combines QR codes, note-taking, and listening/responding to music and videos.
QR codes to three TedTalks explaining situational, dramatic and verbal irony. The original videos were found on YouTube, but I have "cleaned" the videos through SafeShare. The videos do not contain comments or commercials.
Analysis of "Ironic" by Alanis Morrisette. The graphic organizer contains specific lines from the song. Students will determine whether or not the song line is an example and provide evidence.
