While co-teaching recently I realized that our students are spending a large chunk of their days copying down definitions. While I try to minimize word defining as much as I can, some days it is the best way for students to remember and study terms.
So, to take the pain out of the typical "turn to such and such page of your book and copy down these definitions," I thought our students would enjoy making it into a game: a word search!
Worksheet Directions: Search for vocabulary words within the word search. All words are hidden 3 times. Each time you find a term, follow one of its three steps. You are finished when all 12 words have been found and steps are complete.
