This set contains several activities to help your students practice using and forming irregular past tense verbs. To start, there is a teaching poster to help you explain irregular past tense verbs.
One activity involves matching 12 sentences to present or irregular past tense verbs that correctly complete the sentences. There are two versions (bear to bear and moose to tree) of this activity. I originally used it in my classroom this way, but I also added a Scoot recording sheet where the student can just circle the correct verb, present or past tense. If you did that, you could just use the sentence cards and the Scoot recording sheet.
After completing the sentence activities, the bear and moose word cards can be used as a concentration game. I also included a recording sheet for students to choose two irregular past tense verbs and use each of them in a sentence. There is a box for them to draw a picture too.
Another activity is a Go Fish game with 48 cards for students to match present and irregular past tense verbs.
The final activity is an I Have, Who Has present and irregular past tense verbs version with 24 cards.
