With these digital task cards, students will be working with irregular plural nouns that change their name and ones that stay the same. Additionally, this irregular plural nouns task cards are no prep and ready to use! No laminating, no cutting, even no printing! This resource was created for use in Google Slides.
Did I also mention it can be used on tablets? Say what? Yup, you can use this on a tablet, computer, or you can even project them with a SMARTboard! In fact, this actual set, you could just use a projector and whiteboard, so no SMARTboard needed! Simply let the students use a dry erase marker on the board if you don't have access to a Smartboard. Of course, the whole whiteboard/ SMARTboard part is just one of the options. These can be used simply with just a computer or tablet because they are very versatile! *Tech specs below.
Not only that, but this resource stands out from simple apps on tablets because it automatically saves their work. That means you have access to assess their work!
•20 digital task cards where students type the words (text box already added)
•20 digital task cards where students cut and paste the words with shortcut keys onto each card (I have included visual instructions in the document for this.)
•Student instructions (Digital and printable PDF)
•Instructions on how to download and use this resource
•Optional recording sheet in PDF format for printing
If you already use Google Classroom, you only need to simply assign students a file and you are set!
Note, these task cards for irregular plural nouns were written for second grade. You can get a clear view of the cards in the preview.

What I LOVE about Google Apps When It Came to Creating This Resource:
•Their work saves automatically!
•Because their work saves automatically, I can easily check their work (and not bring home a heavy bag full of paper clutter!)
•Kids love using technology. It's engaging!
•It can be used on a tablet too!
•It saves on ink costs!
•Cut and paste without the paper scraps or trying to hunt down a pair of scissors because the scissor monster hit your class again the night before.
There are some technical requirements to use this resource for irregular plural nouns. First off, this resource is in Google Slides format, so you will need to access to that software to use this resource. That resource is part of their Google Drive apps, which is free. Additionally, I highly recommend you have student accounts by using Classroom by Google. If you don't have Classroom by Google, please get with your tech department to set this up before purchasing this resource. Yes, they do offer it free to non-profit educational institutions, but there are some hoops to get through. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS RESOURCE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE GOOGLE CLASSROOM SET-UP ALREADY. You will also need internet access to use this resource for irregular plural nouns.
With that said, you can use this resource with Google Drive, however, Classroom allows you to assign students the activity and makes it so much more simple to use! There are also age restrictions with setting up a Google Drive account, but that is not an issue with Google Classroom. Please note, I provided a blogpost here with links for getting started with Classroom by Google. However, I still recommend you seek help from your tech department. Get to blog post here.
Please note, this resource for irregular plural nouns is for personal, classroom use only. Also, I am not affiliated or associated with Google, nor do they endorse this resource. This resource for irregular plural nouns is simply a resource that can be used with their software/apps.
Thank you so much for stopping by the Candy Class!
