This easy-to-assemble "Lift the Flap" book is a fun way for students to learn all about Irregular Plurals. All that's needed is scissors and glue!
The cover of the book features word endings to look for when pluralizing nouns. Students "lift" the flaps one by one, view the specific plural rule, then read examples of the rule in action. The back cover lists some common exceptions to the rules, as well as a space for students to write any other unusual plurals they may encounter. This makes a great resource that students can keep in their desks and use all year long!
To assess your students' understanding of the topic, I've included an Irregular Plurals quiz, complete with bonus questions and an answer key. For additional practice with Irregular Plurals, visit my store and take a look at my Irregular Plurals Cut-and-Paste Activity!
