Description

An easy-to-play irregular verb grammar game focusing on Past Participles. If you are about to teach Present Perfect, Past Perfect of Future Perfect to your students, being able to use and recognize the PAST PARTICIPLE is of vital importance. Practice 55 commonly used participles. Many students struggle and dread remembering that famous 3rd column. This gives them an opportunity to practice in the context of a game. It’s fantastic for listening skills as students must actively listen for their verb participle card to be called. This is a great game for small groups of 5-10 students. **The complete verb list is written below. This activity is low prep for ESL and ELL young learners. Print, laminate and cut-out. There are two different versions of the game included in this download.

What's included:

  • 56 cards with a white background (less ink version)
  • 56 cards with a yellow background
  • Directions are included!

* each card has a cute image on it, this is only for visual interest for younger learners - the image does not relate to the verb
