This is a center or small group instruction activity where the student matches simple past and past participle verbs to the present tense form of the verb. It was designed to be printed off and used in baseball/collector card protector sheets. The use of the sheets are not necessary, but will help in organization and storage of the materials. There are 2 versions of the activity. Included in the 23 page .docx file are following items:
1 sets of labeled (past/past participle) cards: 12 word cards and 24 answer cards- The answer cards are labeled past and past participle
1 sets of unlabeled (past/past participle) cards: 12 word cards and 24 answer cards, 36 pocket labels- The answer cards are not labeled in this version. Students must be able to distinguish between the two types of verbs.
An answer key

I print the cards off on card stock. You can also print and laminate for durability. I set up the games using three ring pocket folders. I set up both versions of the game and secure the protector sheets in the notebook. I use a page protector for the answer key. Students can remove it to check their answers and then place it back into the protector sheet. I use small brown envelopes to hold the game cards.
I hope this activity works for you.
