During this activity, students will examine data to determine if there is a correlation between rising atmospheric CO2 levels, rising global temperatures, and sea level rise over time. They will then use the Florida coast (or any coastal area of your choice) to determine areas that may be threatened as a result of possible sea level rise. They will finish by developing a plan to address the threatened areas.
This activity can be completed over several full class days or as on ongoing term project using parts of each class. All needed handouts are provided.
