PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This experiment follows a class read aloud of "Bartholomew and the Oobleck" by Dr. Seuss (optional). This is an excellent experiment to get kids thinking deeply about the properties of solids and liquids. Students follow the scientific method though the handout and consider typical characteristics of solids and liquids in an attempt to decide whether Oobleck is more solid or liquid. Have the kids make Oobleck, or make some ahead of time for the experiment.
