This classroom guidance lesson is an engaging and interactive way for students to examine and debate the opportunities they will have after high school. First, students watch a news report done by John Stossel discussing post-high school educational opportunities such as college, technical college, vocational tech, and the military. After the video, students debate the accuracies and fallacies of the report. This lesson includes discussion questions and application of the material to the students’ lives as well as evaluation questions to close the lesson.
