This is a great lesson I use to prepare for Chapter or Unit Tests in my World History Classes. I look for fun ways to review that helps the whole class prepare for the tests and these review days are always a favorite. This lesson includes the guidelines for a Jeopardy style game that has 40 review questions and answers of 7th Grade World History material from my Islam Unit (My school uses the Holt text “Medieval to Early Modern Times”). This is a one day lesson (45 minutes or so). The class is divided into two teams and they work in pairs so that nobody feels like they are on their own. This game keeps everyone engaged. My lesson plan includes a few twists that can get your classes riled up to a fevered pitch, all in the name of knowledge and fun!
