PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product consists of the following, in one PDF file:

1. Ten Scavenger Hunt “Clues” – each page has one previous answer and one current problem for students to solve using their knowledge of isosceles triangles and equilateral triangles. Students need to know the Isosceles Triangle Theorem and its Converse. They also need to know that every equilateral triangle is also equiangular, and vice versa. Lastly, they need to be proficient in solving simple algebraic equations.

2. Answer Key

3. Teacher Instruction Sheet

These “clues” should be taped in various places around the classroom. To make it interesting, place them on the walls, on the backs of chairs, on tables, on the ceiling (if you’re adventurous), on the door, in the hallway just outside of the room (if your students can be trusted), etc. Students can either work on their own or in groups.
Students can start at any clue and go to the next one from there.

Thank you for looking at my product. I hope you find it useful and/or helpful. My students really enjoyed this activity, and I hope yours will, too.
