Issue Organizer: Combating Sweatshops in the Developing World

Issue Organizer: Combating Sweatshops in the Developing World
Product Description
This Issue Organizer is designed to encourage students to consider the impact that fair wages would have on sweatshops in the developing world. Students are first asked to provide an equal list of arguments for and against the following question: Should the average minimum wage in North America be taken to the developing world as a means of eliminating sweatshops? At the bottom of the organizer, students are required to write a brief paragraph of their overall impressions of this issue, which should ultimately prove to be a more nuanced synthesis of both sides of the debate.
