What is It Says, I Say, and So?
This post-reading strategy helps students by guiding them through the process of selecting evidence and drawing inferences from their assigned texts. Students are first provided with a question to respond to, then they formulate their own opinion, next they choose evidence from the text that best address the question, and finally they draw their own conclusion based on a combination of the steps they have completed prior.
