This printable graphic organizer is intended to help students in Italian I or Italian II to remember when to use essere or avere (based on the concept of "la casa d' essere" which I cannot include since the one I use is copyrighted) and agreement of the past participle or no agreement.
This product is best used after students have already been exposed to the verbs in "la casa di essere" and have already practiced those verbs on their own. I have often used this graphic organizer when students are practicing using avere or essere in the same exercise when they begin to get confused between the rules for the two. I have found this organizer to be helpful in clarifying their thoughts and in remembering the information for better accuracy in their work.
A second printable graphic organizer is included with the added element of reciprocal and reflexive verbs.
A partially filled graphic organizer is also included if you'd prefer to have students write in the information for better retention.
