As an Itinerant, I serve multiple districts and have a hefty caseload of students with a variety of disabilities. At the beginning of each school year, I create a “working folder” for each student. This folder houses all of my students’ personalized information (i.e., Parent or Guardian Information, Schedules, etc.) and documentation (i.e., IEPs, Audiograms, Progress Reports, etc.). In order to help me keep track of what needs to go in my working folders, I have created a check-list that identifies all the necessary documents, such as: IEP Goal and Objective Data Collection Form, Itinerant Consultation Form, Itinerant Contact Log, Itinerant Student Accommodation Page and the Itinerant IEP Data Collection Form. Most of these items you can purchase from my shop, individually. However, I also include my own DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Report that I write for each IEP Meeting, for each student, as well as the report that my Educational Audiologist creates for each IEP Meeting. This checklist is very resourceful for me in maintaining my organization for the start of another school year, as well as helps me to “visually” see what documents I still may need to gain access too! You can personalize this checklist. Hope this helps you too!
