*Syllable Seeds - identifying & sorting 1/2/3/4 syllable words
*Sound Toss - identifying objects with the same beginning sounds
*Bats in the Cave - identifying rhyming vs. non-rhyming pairs
*Candy Corn Cover Up - creating & identifying rhyming words
*You Can't Scare Me! - Alphabetical Order/Letters closest to A and/or Z
*Spin, Blend, & Graph - blending onset rimes & phonemes; identifying real & nonsense words
*Vampire Vowels - identifying & sorting medial vowel sounds, short vowel identification
*Silly CVC Words - making real & nonsense CVC words

These activities were created with the Kindergarten class in mind, but they would be a great challenge for Pre-K kids and a good review and/or intervention piece for 1st grade.
