Introduce your students to the ank, ink, ight, ice, and ay word families. Use these word families to teach over 70 words. This set includes a book for independent reading or listening center, a take home reader or small book for guided reading, and a song sheet file. The books can be printed in color or gray scale. Each small book contains 2 copies so the pages can be cut in half to make 2 books. This will help save copy paper. There are 2 pages to put in a song folder. All versions have an activity page attached so parents can work with their children on reading these word families.

Kathy has also created a multimedia file and song to complement these books. Look for them on Kathy Griffin's TPT store. Use the multimedia file on your digital projector, Smart Board, interactive whiteboard, or student computers. Use the song and books in the listening center. Differentiate to meet the needs of your students on grade level, struggling readers, or those who are ready for the next challenge.
