I pulled this out of my packet from It's 'Snow Problem Place Value Practice
to share with my wonderful customers! Thank you so much for your support over the years! I am a better teacher because of you! XOXO
This is a fun activity to get your kids up and moving while practicing, reviewing, learning or assessing comparing numbers! I have included TWO versions for you. Not to mention it's easy prep. Just print, cut (with a paper cutter!) and hang. (I also laminate to use the following years) Students will just need the recording sheet (and a clipboard if used by hanging the cards around the room).
**The first is numbers less than 100. It's a great way to review the concept of greater than, less than and equal to. (Or, to teach it in a younger grade)
**The second is meeting the Second Grade Common Core Standards-comparing numbers through 1000. I plan on using both with my second graders-the first to get the concept the second to meet the standards.
I hope you and your students enjoy this activity as much as my kids do! Please check out my blog for more ideas and to peek at this in my classroom! I'd love to have you stop by! :)
