This product consists of two practice worksheets that were designed to help students sort out the common confusion between "it's" and "its." Explanations and examples are provided on both pages (see the preview file) which should enable the students to work independently. The explanations about the parts of speech are fairly detailed on these worksheets. I don't expect every kid to understand all of the grammar, but I did feel that it was worth trying to hammer home the point that an apostrophe is required when writing a contraction.
I hope that you find this product to be a useful review. The review will work across broad grade levels to different effects depending on students' ability levels. Thanks for your interest.
