Simple But Good!
This means not a lot of cute graphics and borders, just what you need to teach. I try and make everything to print with as little waste as possible. No fancy borders means less ink. You will get three sentence strips with two cuts and no waste from each page printed. Pictures to go into the pocket chart included. Everything printed in an easy to read kindergarten font with good spacing between words.
Two strips together will usually make one line on the pocket chart.
This includes three versions of the poem:
1. Poem on 8.5 by 11 paper for your I can read binder.
2. Poem printed horizontally on two 8 by 11 sheets. Print, glue onto a piece of 12 by 18 construction paper and laminate for a poster size.
3. Poem in sentence strips for shared reading in the pocket chart.
Print the sight words on bright colored card stock and your students can find and “highlight” the same words in the poem
Print on cardstock and laminate for durability if you like.
Cut up the poem into individual words and have your students build the poem.
