Jack's Beanstalk Stomp
Unison/2-Part Mixed Chorus w/Bass Drum, Wood Block, & Foot Stomps

"Come on Jack! You'd better run, 'cause here comes the giant! Fee-fi-fo-fum!
This song tells the shorter version of the English fairy tale, Jack & the Beanstalk."
"Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale. It was originally called, "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean" and was written in 1734. The story is accredited to Benjamin Tabart's "The History of Jack and the Bean-Stalk" (1807).

Excellent for more advanced upper elementary & middle school students
Comfortable singing range for both parts
Singing and spoken word measures
Perfect opportunity to work on dynamics and accented notes
Kids love the foot stomps added to the chorus signifying that the giant is coming!
May use optional world drum, bass drum, or wood blocks along with the foot stomps
No drums? Hit the floor, back of a chair, or anything that makes a "drum" noise
Chords added for additional instruments, if desired
Action cues included in score
Great "scary" sounding song for Halloween
