OBJECTIVE: This centre will help you learn (and remember) the genealogy (family tree) of Jesus since the first man, Adam!

1. A small bag of the 17 picture frames cut out.

2. A timer

3. A golden thread.

GENEALOGY means a record of a family from one ancestor to the next. Family history. It is also called "lineage."

Each head has a name on it. Students will simply time themselves (or with help) putting them in order! When the student is finished, they can call a teacher over to shuffle them and then you can start the timer again as you watch them put them in order and impress you that they now know the genealogy of Jesus!

PERSONAL NOTE from the Sleuth for the Truth author: My mom had a student draw these in the 70s. So it should be TOO much of a surprise that the face is (somewhat) familiar! ;-) Everything else has been transferred to digital, but the people working on Sleuth for the Truth didn't want to change these - even the handwriting!

This centre is also provided through The Scripture Scout’s SLEUTH FOR THE TRUTH curriculum (hence the centre number on the top of the pages), but can be used with your own method of teaching the genealogy of Jesus.
