JOB INTERVIEW "How NOT to Interview for a Job!" -- Video Activity - is a hilarious interview video presentation that will captivate your students and will solicit an immediate response. On this zip file you will find a worksheet that accompanies the video. Once the students have watched this video, ask them to quickly list all of the "errors" made by the interviewee: her oral responses including slang, body language, actions, the attire she wears, etc. It is always fun to engage them in a discussion.about what they thought about the interviewer and this potential employee. Will she get the job? The body language of the interviewee is a "scream" -- she does EVERYTHING wrong and this video is guaranteed to generate a lively discussion.
The questions that are included in the second part of this activity are what we call the "Dirty Dozen Interview Questions." These questions have been prepared by a Human Resources professional, and they will be very helpful to your students to consider before they engage in any mock or "real world" interview.
