Do your students have trouble remembering to include details? Do they sometimes describe things in vague terms? Well this jack-o-lantern matching game would be perfect for them!!
This game contains 30 pairs of jack-o-lantern matching cards. The game is played in a "go fish" style where students want to collect the most pairs first. The jack-o-lanterns are various sizes, shapes, shades of orange, and contain different eyes and mouths. Some pumpkins have a leaf, while some have a vine. The possibilities were endless, so I tried to keep it limited so as to not overwhelm students too much. :-)
These matching cards are great for working on memory, active listening, paying attention to detail and using descriptive skills. It also helps reinforce concepts such as big, little, tall, fat, top, bottom, as well as shapes and numbers.
