Glyphs tell about the person who made them! Glyph is short for hieroglyphics. It's art with information! Think of it as taking your art to a new level! Print the attached pages. Make enough copies of page 2 so that each student will have the supplies they need. Copy page 2 (the large pumpkin) on orange construction paper if you like. Students fill in the stem color and face according to the Legend. When the glyph is complete it will tell about the student who made it! Anyone who reads the glyph will know if the student is a boy or girl, if Fall is their favorite season or not, if they buy their lunch from the school cafeteria or if they bring it from home and whether or not they like pumpkin pie. Your students will LOVE it!
