Do you DIBEL?
If you teach kindergarten or first grade you know how important quick decoding skills are to students' success (and benchmarks) on the DIBELs Nonsense Word Fluency measure.
This activity is also appropriate for second or even third grade teachers who work with students who require remediation in their decoding skills.
This fun and engaging game is great for partners, small groups, and even whole groups.
Jack and the Beanstalk: Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum! includes 80 nonsense word cards and 32 "Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!" cards. Students try to collect as many nonsense word cards as they can before they get a "Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!" card.
